I am committed to increasing awareness of image-based screening because it helps us find diseases earlier, when we have more opportunities to improve outcomes. When I’m not at work, you may find me working on a new recipe or traveling with friends and family.

I am a breast radiologist at UCLA and care for patients with breast disease. In addition, I am passionate about expanding image-based screening participation in all communities by improving screening access and knowledge.  In my free time, I enjoy yoga, beach destinations, and movies.

I am an informatician who is passionate about exploring ways that technology can be used to improve cancer screening. My research lab focuses on integrating different types of clinical data and applying machine learning techniques to improve clinical decision making. As a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Department of Radiology, my driving force is to bridge individuals with innovative therapies and solutions that enhance their well-being. I'm deeply passionate about harmonizing medical sciences and healthcare with the diverse communities they serve. Growing up in Miami as a first-generation American born to Cuban refugee parents, I embody a blend of cultural heritage and professional dedication. Beyond work, you'll find me soaking up the sun at the beach, exploring nature trails with my beloved golden retriever Maple, and experimenting with exciting new recipes in the kitchen.
